Picture a day in the life of a seriously ill, hospitalized child.  Visions might come
to mind of a child in a confined, restricted environment, medical personnel providing care and treatment, the child submitting to their prescribed regimen, not capable of much activity and limited involvement with other children. This is the
daily experience for thousands of children throughout America.

There is a solution.
"Nappy Girl"

"This is a Nappy Headed model. Flying in from Paris to take her new shoots.  And the nappy Headed girls name is Miyah.  At first she thought her pictures was ugly.  But she looked at them again then she said What am I talking about.
I look Beutiful!!!"

Maya's photos of herself along with her written story led to a discovery that she had been "dropped-off" at the hospital. And, since the two weeks into her hospital stay battling serious illness;Maya had yet to have any family members show-up for her. But on this day, Miyah's spirit was lifted and able to shine a little brighter.  She clearly expressed herself in taking photos and writing through Picture Me Happy's personal creative process.

Please donate today and help us, in helping these children have a brighter, happier day amidst the fight for their lives.
